During Friday's episode of "The Talk," "Ted Lasso" star Phil Dunster is welcomed by the studio audience chanting his character, Jamie Tartt's theme song! "Thank you for exacting my demand making sure the song was played," jokes Dunster. He also reveals the origins to Tartt's signature chant. "It was my fault really. It was a conversation that I had right at the start, I think it was the first table read we had...I think they needed a song, a chant...I felt like that would have been sort of a song you'd hear, and we came up with it together." After "Ted Lasso" took home seven Emmy Awards Sunday night, Dunster shares his favorite part of the night. "I think when we got in, probably seeing Hannah [Waddingham] and Brett [Goldstein] win was a special moment." On the evolution of his character, he adds, "It's such a dream to have as an actor, to have characters that are challenged...we see in the second series him start to learn that and do the heavy lifting for that...so it's a real dream to be able to play that really."
