The Talk’s Natalie Morales shades Jennifer Lopez amid Ben Affleck divorce rumors: ‘How many times has she blended families?’

The Talk has, well, a lot to say about the rumors that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are headed for a divorce.

Natalie Morales led the conversation about the powerhouse couple during the CBS daytime talk show on Thursday.

“I just feel so bad for the kids involved in this yet again. How many times has she blended families?” Morales asked, referring to Lopez.

“I mean, there was A-Rod and the blending of the families. Marc Anthony,” she went on. “There has been so many blending families and I just feel bad that the kids, once again they’re going through this.”

The musician, 54, and Affleck, 51, have been facing split rumors for weeks. He didn’t attend Lopez’s Hollywood and Mexico City “Atlas” film premieres, he jokingly covered his ring hand under his sweater when he stepped out in LA on Wednesday, and the pair have been living separately.

During her press tour, she also shut down a reporter when asked about her marriage, replying: “You should know better.”

“Maybe she loved love,” Sheryl Underwood interjected on Thursday.

“She does love love,” Morales, 51, said.

“And he loved her and they’re trying to work it out,” Underwood added. “You know, I am team Marc Anthony. He’s my favorite.”

Morales then referred to Lopez’s recent documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” and how it seemingly portrayed how different Lopez and Affleck are.

“They’re falling back in love with the people that they fell in love with 20 years ago. … That ideal of that was my first love and I love that person and you can never get over that first love in some ways. But then they realized there was difficult and maybe they’ve grown apart. They’re two completely different people,” she said on the show.

“She’s very much into her social media and public persona and he wants nothing to do with that anymore.”

Fellow co-host Jerry O’Connell, meanwhile, recalled his own experience getting back with an ex in the past. Lopez and the Oscar winner, aka Bennifer, famously ended their initial engagement in 2004 and gave love another shot in 2021. They got engaged and married the following year.

“We broke up, someone I was with,” O’Connell, 50, said. “And then we got back together. The second I got back into it I was like, ‘Oh.’ You sort of remember why [you split]. It’s been my experience it doesn’t work out.”

Affleck shares kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, 52, who he split from in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. Lopez, for her part, is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with Anthony.

Lopez was previously engaged to Alex Rodriguez before rekindling her romance with Affleck. The former Yankees player shares daughters Natasha, 19, and Ella, 16, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
