Katie Couric discusses plans for her daughter Ellie's wedding, that was postpone due to the pandemic. "She's getting married on the fourth of July," confirms Couric. "I think it's going to be such a fun party because everyone is so jonesing to be out there and be with their friends...vaccines are required. You have to be vaccinated to come to the wedding. I actually went shopping for the Mother of the Bride dress this morning, which is exciting." She adds, she hired musicians Jay and Molly Unger to play their song "Ashokan Farewell" [from Ken Burns series "The Civil War"], which was performed at Couric's late husband Jay Monahan's funeral. "Ellie's going to actually walk down the aisle to them playing it as a tribute to their dad. So, I think it's going to be just this incredible moment of full circle and a way to honor Jay who, I wish could be there to walk her down the aisle. But Ellie is going to be walking herself down the aisle, because she's an independent woman."
