Thursday on "The Talk" Katherine Heigl discusses her new series "Firefly Lane" and what drew her to the role. "I just think this story is so beautiful, powerful, relatable and I haven't had the opportunity to tell this kind of story [in] a long time. I just love and really respond to those really human, kind of relatable, heartwarming stories." Heigl adds, "I'm really proud how it turned out and I'm so proud of Sarah Chalke, everyone involved in it." She shares why she changed her hair color for the part. "In the book, Tully is a brunette so I love to honor the book as much as possible and I love changing my hair color... and that is very confusing for my children. My son, especially, who at the time was two, when I did it was just mind-blown. He didn't even know who I was. Actually, I think he really loved the brunette. He'd kind of be like [face blushing], then I went back to blonde during the pandemic and he kept coming back to me like, "Where's your brown hair?'"
