Talent Agents Dede Binder & Gwenn Pepper Team To Relaunch Defining Artists
Less than a year after GVA Talent, Defining Artists, David Shapira & Associates merged to form Concept Talent Group, Dede Binder, who had been a Partner and Owner of Defining Artists since 2003, has left Concept along with Gwenn Pepper, formerly of GVA. The two have partnered to relaunch Defining Artists as a boutique talent agency for film and TV actors. It is located on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.
Binder brings to their banner clients Judd Nelson, Joely Fisher, Christina Moses (A Million Little Things, The Originals), Ryan Dorsey (Pitch, Ray Donovan), Michelle DeFraites (The Quad), Alex Fernandez (The OA, Runaways) among others. Pepper brings with her Brianne Davis (Six), Jessica Garza (Purge), Rey Gallegos (Animal Kingdom), Cheryl Ladd, Tony Todd, Rick Worthy (The Magicians), Bess Armstrong and others.
“Gwenn and I share the same like-mindedness in regards to our taste in our stellar actors, and brainstorming ideas together as a team,” Binder said. Added Pepper, “It’s a very exciting time for the 2 of us and our company and we look forward to always being one step ahead.”
