The Eagles and Browns first of two joint practices sessions got underway on Thursday under the backdrop of the NFL, NFLPA, and quarterback Deshaun Watson agreeing to an updated suspension that consists of 11 games missed and a $5 million fine.

Both teams had success on the day, but the first day was split up and consisted of the Eagles’ defense joining the Browns’ offense on one field and vice versa for Philadelphia’s offense and Cleveland’s defense.

Both teams will get together on Friday for day two of joint sessions before a day off on Saturday and the second preseason matchup on Sunday afternoon.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett took most of the first teamwork for Cleveland, while DeVonta Smith returned in full pads and made his presence felt immediately.
