Last Thursday night in Los Angeles, a group of talented actors got together to bring the scripts created by area youth to life. The evening was part of the annual Young Storytellers Big Show. The program, based in New York and L.A., pairs mentors with low-income students to help them write original stories in the form of screenplays, which are acted out at a later date.
