From the pop rapper's 'Ninja Rap' in 1991’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze to his reunion with the Turtles 25 years later to support the new 'Out of the Shadows,' a look back at a solid bond
Considering how far performance-capture tech has come in the last decade, it’s easy to forget there are human actors creating all the movements behind CGI characters like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in films like their new sequel, Out of the Shadows. Megan Fox, who reprises her role of Turtle ally April O'Neil, doesn’t think working opposite men in dotted-up suits is the least bit weird. “They’re super-hot guys,” Fox told Yahoo Movies at the film’s recent Los Angeles press day (watch above). "So I don’t see those dots or those suits.

I love being pregnant,” the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows star said on Extra Thursday. Though she conceded that “a lot of women don’t feel that way” and that being pregnant is both “really uncomfortable” and “painful at parts,” Fox said that, “I feel the overall process is an amazing one.” She added, “I feel so productive creating a human person that I’m so excited to meet because I know that I have such a spiritual connection to them, so I can’t wait to meet this new member of my family.” The new baby will be Fox’s third child with her husband Brian Austin Green.
We’re nearing the release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel Out of the Shadows, and the ad wizards behind it have come up with a cool marketing stunt.
The 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot focused on reintroducing the world to the four pizza-loving heroes in a half shell and their reporter pal April O'Neil (Megan Fox). Now, the sequel is moving on to unveiling fresh takes on some other iconic characters from the long-running franchise.
The upcoming sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is going to have a double dose of April O'Neils. Judith Hoag, who originated the live-action role of the intrepid reporter (and the half-shells’ closest human ally) in the 1990 movie version, was photographed on the film’s New York City set alongside current April O'Neil, Megan Fox. Variety caught up with Hoag last August, as the first installment of the rebooted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was hitting theaters.
