      ‘Channel Zero’ Canceled After 4 Seasons on Syfy

      Syfy has canceled the horror anthology series “Channel Zero,” creator Nick Antosca announced on Tuesday. “After 4 seasons, Channel Zero is no more at SYFY,” the showrunner wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday. “I loved making this show and I would have loved to do more… but I can’t complain too much about doing 4 stories I loved with people who I loved working with.” He continued, “People like our writers, our actors, our extraordinary crew, the artists who contributed, our editors and post team, our composer Jeff Russo, our team at Syfy and UCP. And especially the four awesome directors, Craig Macneill, Steven Piet, Arkasha Stevenson, and Evan Katz.” Also Read: Syfy's 'Z Nation' Canceled After 5 Seasons Since the show’s debut in 2016, each six-episode season of “Channel Zero” has focused on a different creepypasta, or internet horror story, with a different director at the helm. The most recent season, subtitled “The Dream Door,” ran for six consecutive days last October and wrapped its run on Halloween. “I’m deeply grateful for this experience.
