Stand Up to Cancer: And the Fundraising Total (So Far) Is...
Here’s some happy news to start off your week: Stand Up to Cancer will announce today that their biennial telecast has raised $111 million in pledged donations so far, up from $109 million in 2014. The telecast, which was executive produced by Bradley Cooper and broadcast live from Los Angeles, was aired simultaneously on 60 networks and streaming services. Céline Dion took the stage at Friday’s Stand Up to Cancer telethon for an emotional performance of her new single “ Recovering” live from the Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
