For NBC, Cruel Intentions is deader than Sebastian Valmont. The peacock network passed on a reboot-slash-sequel that catches up with Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Kathryn as she vies for control of the family business and for the soul of her step-brother’s son, Bash Casey. NBC blamed the sudden disinterest on their full midseason roster, so the show’s creators are shopping it to other networks.
