David Arquette will wrestle again less than two months after death match that injured him.
David Arquette suffered a gruesome injury during a wrestling “death match” in Los Angeles Friday night that resulted in him leaving the ring as blood poured from his neck. Arquette — who became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion in 2000 to promote his wrestling movie “Ready to Rumble” — was up against Combat Zone Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Nick Gage in the match at GCW’s Joey Janela’s L.A. Confidential event Friday. Gage smacked him with a light-bulb tube, and the blow caused a cut to Arquette’s neck, which began to bleed profusely.
