Some superhero sidekicks are so good that they need more screen time of their own, such as Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman, Idris Elba’s Heimdall, and more.
“She’s a miraculous actor,” Jackman told Yahoo Movies when we spoke to him and Patrick Stewart about the film
Logan is Hugh Jackman’s last Wolverine movie, but it’s just the beginning for young Dafne Keen. X-23 is a clone of Wolverine, and in the comics, she eventually assumes the costume and name of the popular hero.
As we know from its recently released plot synopsis, Logan will pick up with Wolverine as he’s drawn out of isolation – where he’s been caring for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) — in order to protect a young girl (Dafne Keen) who’s being hunted by Donald Pierce (Boyd Holbrook) and his merry band of psycho Reavers. For those not yet in the know, Keen is playing X-23, a female clone of Wolverine who made her comic-book debut back in 2004.
