T-Pain Wants To Perform At Super Bowl LIX

T-Pain wants to perform at 2025’s Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. The Tallahassee singer posted a fanmade Super Bowl flyer of himself to Instagram on Monday (Feb. 12). “I do got the hits NFL,” the artist captioned the post.

His post also included a clip of his conversation on Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson’s Nightcap. Sharpe asked Pain if he would be down to headline a Halftime Show. The soulful crooner wasted no time as he responded, “Absolutely.” The third and final portion of his post included a fan pleading with the NFL that they are due for a T-Pain Super Bowl. “Not gonna lie, I think we need a T-Pain Super Bowl Halftime Show,” the fan typed.

In the wake of Usher crushing his Halftime Show, it seems like everyone has an idea of who the next headliner should be. Lil Wayne actually endorsed himself following Super Bowl LVIII.

Weezy recently appeared on YG’s 4HUNNID Podcast where he was asked about performing at the NFL championship game. He admitted that he’s been “praying” to get the coveted gig. He also explained that it would mean everything to perform on the game’s biggest night in his hometown.

“I will not lie to you. I have not got a call or nothing. We praying. We keeping our fingers crossed. I’m working hard. I’mma make sure this next album and everything I do is killer,” the legendary emcee said. “I wanna just make it hard for them not to holler at the boy…I could be like [Rihanna]. RiRi came out there and just went from year to year to year to year to year.”

Deion Sanders then hit X/Twitter to back up Wayne’s plea to get him to the Super Bowl. Sanders said he wanted to see the Young Money boss as the Halftime Show headliner and said he “expects” to see it happen. “NFL, I fully expect Lil Wayne to be a part of the NFL Super Bowl 2025 in New Orleans,” he typed. “Thank u in advance. Much Love, CoachPrime,” he typed.

Both T-Pain and Lil Wayne want to do the Super Bowl. Hm, maybe we can settle for T-Wayne. Only time will tell!
