T.J. Holmes Sports Diamond Earring as He Packs on PDA with Amy Robach During Red Carpet Couple Debut

The couple made their red carpet debut on Friday at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in L.A.

Friday brought a big moment for T.J. Holmes as he made his red carpet debut with Amy Robach, but his new love wasn’t the only thing on display.

The former GMA3 anchor also debuted a pair of diamond stud earrings as he laughed and smiled down the red carpet at the 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball with his girlfriend. He matched with Robach, 50, who was sporting a pair of hoops herself as they walked the carpet.

The couple also rocked coordinating looks for their first official outing together, with Robach in a black leather mini dress with black heeled boots and Holmes, 46, in a black blazer and pants with a white button down shirt.

They couldn’t keep their hands to themselves on the carpet, either, as they embraced each other and were photographed laughing and whispering to each other while they posed for photos at the holiday show.

Days after making their red carpet debut as a couple, the former GMA3 anchors broke their silence on their relationship on the premiere episode of their new joint podcast, Amy and T.J. Podcast.

Holmes described he and his girlfriend as “the folks who lost the jobs we love because we love each other” as they shared more about their lives — both together and apart — since their departure from the morning news show in January.

The premiere episode marked, in Robach’s words, "the first time we get to say what happened and where we are today.”

She said that she and Holmes have "gone through a year of hell" as she gave an insight into their romance.

"In the end, all of us are always rooting for love," she said. "It doesn’t always happen when you want it to happen. And it's undeniable when it’s real and it’s something you have to navigate and it’s not easy."

While she noted that “relationships are hard, they’re messy, they’re not perfect,” Robach was gleeful as she said, “We have fought for love, and I can say I have never been happier. I am with my best friend.”

Adding that he's the “happiest and healthiest that I've been in my life," Holmes continued, "Bottom line we have not said this. I’m in love with this woman and she’s in love with me and we are planning a life together.”

The podcast’s launch comes over a year after the former co-anchors were spotted holding hands in November 2022. At the time, they both seemed to be married to their respective spouses, Robach’s husband Andrew Shue and Holmes’ wife Marilee Fiebig.

An insider later told PEOPLE that there hadn’t been any overlap between their budding romance and their respective marriages.

"This was two consenting adults who were each separated. They both broke up with their spouses in August within weeks of each other," the insider explained. "The relationship didn't start until after that."

The source continued, "They were both separated so they felt very comfortable dating in the open after that. Their spouses had moved out, even! So they were not hiding anything."
