SZA Takes Center Stage in Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2023 Campaign: ‘I’m So Inspired’

Tommy Hilfiger tapped SZA and Quincy Jones & family to star in the second installment of its 2023 fall campaign released this month. The campaign celebrates the brand’s history of collaborating with different recording artists over the years and bringing the worlds of music and fashion together.

“I’m so inspired by the creative icons that have come before me and the foundation that they’ve laid,” SZA said in a news release announcing the latest photo campaign. “I’m excited and honored to build my legacy as a creative alongside a brand as established and influential as Tommy Hilfiger. It’s been a great experience with the brand and so special to share with my close family and friends.”
Jones has a long history with the Hilfiger brand. His daughter, Kidada, worked on the Tommy Jeans launch in the ‘90s and styled Aaliyah’s iconic Tommy Hilfiger bandeau top look for the 1997 “In the Jeans” campaign, which was featured in Vibe magazine, founded by Jones.
“I believe in the power of music to shape and guide us, and that creativity is a vital part of who we are as human beings,” said the legendary music producer. “It’s a philosophy I share with my family and one I hope to pass on to the next generation. Tommy [Hilfiger] and I first met in the ‘90s during a revolutionary time in music. We came from different worlds, but we immediately connected as two optimistic, and hardworking dreamers with a shared vision to combine music and fashion in a way that had not been done before.”
Jones is featured in the campaign alongside 21 of his family members including his children Rashida, Kidada, Kenya Kinski-Jones, Jolie, Rachel, Quincy Jones III and Tina.
SZA is also featured in the campaign with family her family and friends. On Monday, the “Shirt” singer, who is currently on her S.O.S. tour (get tickets here), co-hosted a New York Fashion Week brunch with Hilfiger at Tk.
The clothing brand has collaborated with other artists this year including GloRilla and Shawn Mendes and recently announced Stray Kids as ambassadors.
