SZA and Keke Palmer are reuniting for a new comedy produced by Issa Rae.

Deadline reports that while plot details are yet to be revealed, the still-untitled film will be a "buddy comedy" movie with Rap Sh!t's Lawrence Lamont directing and showrunner Syreeta Singleton writing the screenplay. Rae herself will be producing via her HOORAE banner with Sara Diya Rastogi, as will Palmer and her mother, Sharon, for Big Boss. ColorCreative’s Deniese Davis, and Charles D. King, James Lopez and Poppy Hanks of Macro Film Studios will also produce.

Palmer and SZA first showed their humorous chemistry to the world during their tandem Saturday Night Live episode. The upcoming film will mark SZA's acting debut after "considering a number of projects" and landing on this project as "the opportunity to reunite with Palmer was too good to pass up."
