Syracuse QB Eric Dungey basically dropkicks Miami defender on attempted hurdle
Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey does some wild things during the course of a game.
When he’s not chucking it deep, he has no fears as a runner and often gives up his body for extra yardage. Or he’ll attempt something like this:
That attempt at hurdling a defender instead turned into some cleat marks on the chest of Miami defensive back Sheldrick Redwine. Dungey, who has thrown four interceptions in the game, got the first down, too.
On the very next play, Moe Neal ran it in from 15 yards out to cut Miami’s lead to 20-13.
Later in the second half, Dungey tried another wild hurdle on a big run.
No fear.
Dungey finished the game, a 27-19 loss, with 137 yards passing and 100 yards rushing
