Sylvester Stallone May Have Just Spoiled The Ending of the New 'Rocky' Movie

Not so sly, Stallone.

On Sunday, the writer-director-actor whose Rocky beat out All the President’s Men, Taxi Driver, and Network for Best Picture in 1977 committed a bit of a blunder by tweeting out a clear photo of the screenplay for the upcoming Rocky spinoff Creed.

To make matters worse, the page shown in the shot is seemingly from a climactic final fight in the film, which was written and will be directed by Fruitvale Station’s Ryan Coogler. Stallone’s apparently making edits to the script, since the tweet’s accompanying text read, “Where the screenwriting is done.”

In the film, Michael B. Jordan will play Adonis Creed, the grandson of Carl Weathers’ Apollo Creed, while Stallone will reprise his role as Rocky. We don’t know how they get there, but the old Italian Stallion is evidently in the ring with Adonis when he wins his last (presumably title) fight in a massive stadium to fans cheering his name.

In other Stallone sequel news, the big man also tweeted that he was going to soon film a fifth Rambo movie, which he called Last Blood Rambo. We’ve known about the movie since September, so this tweet is only news because a few months ago, the film was rumored to be titled Rambo: Last Blood… which is probably a much better name.
