Sydney Sweeney Looks Unrecognizable With a Pamela Anderson–Inspired Updo

You know what time it is. Yep, it’s your daily installment of celebrities sporting and nailing an epic hair look. Just this week so far, we’ve had Megan Fox cutting her hair shorter for summer, Emma Watson’s French girl bob, and Kim Kardashian’s ’80s blonde mullet.

But there’s one hairstyle in particular that’s proving to be very popular this summer: the Pamela Anderson updo. You may have seen it all over TikTok, and if not, just look to the times where Jennifer Aniston, Cardi B, and Kim Kardashian all tried the hairdo themselves.

The latest celeb to give this iconic look a go is none other than Sydney Sweeney. Posing on a motorcycle in a crystal crop top, a glitter chain-mail miniskirt, and knee-high boots, the Euphoria star’s iconic outfit is matched by an equally iconic hairdo.

Much like Pamela’s go-to hairstyle, Sydney’s hair has been piled on top of her head with lots of curls teased out. But for a modern twist, hairstylist Florido Basallo added an adorable bow into her hair.

The iconic picture was taken by photographer Ellen von Unwerth for Von Magazine. Sharing the snap on Instagram, Sydney wrote in the caption, “Such an honor to work with the iconic @ellenvonunwerth 🔥 thank you for having me. ♥️”

To finish the look, makeup artist Melissa Hernandez drew on the perfect cat-eye flick and took the black eyeliner along the waterline for a more intense finish.
