Sydney Sweeney made her Saturday Night Live hosting debut this weekend.

The actress, 26, appeared on SNL for the first time alongside musical guest Kacey Musgraves, Saturday, and during her monologue she jokingly addressed "some stuff I've seen about me online."

"I once said that I used to work at Universal Studios and then someone online accused me of lying about that, which is insane. If I didn't work there, how would I know all the Universal characters, like Shock, The Monions and Harry Porter," she joked.

Next, Sweeney discussed "a woman on TikTok [who] went viral because she claimed she was my nutritionist," going on to joke that she is in shape because she runs, avoids sugar and "does Ozempic."

The actress then revealed the "craziest rumour" she had seen online, which was, "that while I was filming Anyone But You I was having an affair with my co-star Glen Powell."

"That's obviously not true," she added, explaining, "Me and my fiancé produced the movie together and he was there the entire shoot, and I just want to let everyone know that he's the man of my dreams and we're still together and stronger than ever."

"He even came here tonight to support me, Can we cut to him?" she asked as the camera cut to none other than Powell himself sitting in the audience, prompting cheers from the crowd.

"Yeah, no, that's not my fiancé. He's in my dressing room!" she said, pretending to be flustered, before promising a great show.

Last year, Sweeney, who is engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, and Powell, who is single, spoke with PEOPLE and discussed the focus on them. The two are just friends, but the attention they received helped drive attention to the film. “I mean, we sold a rom-com,” Sweeney told PEOPLE. “We were just filming a fun, amazing movie.”

Elsewhere in the show Saturday, Sweeney and Powell poked fun at the rumors again in sketch that saw Sweeney's character managing to quieten a loud table nearby during a date night with her partner.

She then picks up the conversation with her boyfriend, who asks what she had been wanting to tell him about her day at work. Sweeney's character then replies, "I cheated on you with my boss and I think we should break up."

Powell, 35, then appears by the table, apparently as the boss in question, saying, "Hey babycakes, want to get out here?" before he and Sweeney depart together.

The actress took part in plenty of other skits, including one where she played a high school cheerleader Rochelle trying to seduce the latest star of the basketball team, a dog called Air Bud.

Ahead of the show, a Wednesday promo for her episode saw Sweeney play out a meet-cute with cast member Michael Longfellow. The two run into each other on the soundstage, causing the actress to drop a book.

Kafka on the Shore," identifies Longfellow, 30. "You know, this is one of my favorite books of all time.” As rosy lights and romantic music plays, he tries to propose a date, but Sweeney is already walking off.

“Whatever, I didn’t like this book anyway,” he resigns.

Her well of upcoming films won’t dry up any time soon. Costar Powell, 35, told Variety that the two were reading scripts to find their next movie after Anyone But You grossed $200 million globally.

“When you find somebody that you really jive with, Sydney is so easy to work with and so fun. We’re definitely trying to find the next thing. Please send us all the scripts you got,” Powell said to the outlet.
