Swizz Beatz reveals his immersive skating rink and art exhibit is set to return. AlUla on Wheels II is set to launch on Jan. 25, 2024, in the heart of AlUla, Saudi Arabia. Initially designed as a pop-up during last year’s AlUla Wellness Season, the pop-up will now have a three-year home in the AlJadidah Arts District.

“The evolution of AlUla On Wheels proves what a remarkable and inventive culture that is developing in Saudi,” explained the Bronx native. “What we’ve planned this year stretches the boundaries of music and art and proves that creativity flows seamlessly around the world.”

According to a press statement, the all-new design and concept will let patrons experience three epochs of time through skate and music featuring Hip-Hop, reggaeton, and dance.

The roller skating environment is designed by KeyConcept, a design firm headquartered in Dubai and Riyadh. It is set to feature arcade games such as Pac-Man and pinball, and an immersive bubble tunnel walking visitors through the history of AlJadidah, from the golden era of skate to the year 2030 and beyond.

“In working with the talented team at KeyConcept, Swizz and I wanted to particularly emphasize community, culture, and movement through time for this second installment of AlUla on Wheels. We wanted a truly curated destination featuring mesmerizing lights, colors, and design. The journey will begin by going through a tunnel which illustrates the three different eras, taking everyone from the past to the future of Saudi Arabia,” explained Noor Taher of Good Intentions.
