Netflix on Friday released the official trailer for Sweet Magnolias‘ 10-episode third season, which drops in its entirety on Thursday, July 20, and the only thing being poured out more than margaritas… are tears.

To be fair, Maddie (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott) and Helen (Heather Headley) have plenty to be emotional about these days. Maddie feels like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders as she struggles to help Cal (Justin Bruening) with his newly resurfaced anger issues, Dana Sue is still “finding her footing” with Ronnie (Brandon Quinn) now that they’re cohabitating, and Helen is grappling with her feelings for Erik (Dion Johnstone) and Ryan (Michael Shenefelt) after last season’s dramatic proposal cliffhanger.

The ladies also have that mysterious tire slasher to deal with, but to say any more — including her connection to Serenity, as well as her plans for its residents — would be giving too much away. Trust us, though, she’s good TV.

Also back for Season 3 are Chris Klein as Maddie’s ex-husband Bill, Jamie Lynn Spears as Bill’s other ex Noreen, Carson Rowland as Maddie’s older son Tyler, Logan Allen as Ty’s younger brother, Chris Medlin as Isaac (recently discovered to also be Bill’s son!), and Anneliese Judge as Dana Sue and Ronnie’s daughter Annie.

As previously reported, Bianca Berry Tarantino will not be back as Maddie’s daughter Katie due to a scheduling conflict. The actress can next be seen in the Apple TV+ limited series Lady in the Lake, starring Natalie Portman. In her stead, Ella Grace Helton of United We Fall will take over the role.
