Houses were seen submerged in floodwater northwest of Sydney on March 25 after the Australian state of New South Wales was hit by devastating flooding.
This footage shows the damage in the outer Sydney suburb of Sackville, where the Hawkesbury River swallowed low-lying properties. Reporter Jonathan Lea, who took the video, wrote: “This is Sackville … but it feels more like Louisianan swamp land.”
