The 73-year-old "Step by Step" actress revealed she and 83-year-old Alan Hamel get shots to put them in the mood, and it works because they have sex two times a day!

Somers opened up about their PT-141 shots that they get weekly. PT-141 is a melanocortin-based peptide that generates sexual arousal.
"I’m kind of in that groove, like when you were younger and you’re in the mood all the time, and so is he because he’s on hormone replacements,” she told DailyMail.
The duo are still keeping their love alive over 40 years after they said "I do."

“I thought, ‘Wow, what a great thing,” she said about the shots. “Because men have had Viagra, but this is actually a shot for both men and women that’s not a drug. It just stimulates that part of your brain that says, ‘Hey, I’m kind of in the mood.’ And, so, isn’t that a wonderful thing? And it’s not a drug, so I love it.’"
Somers also revealed they have intercourse not once, but two times a day ... although, she struggles to always stay away for both.

The actress, who has been married to the Canadian host since 1977, says she doesn't expect everyone to have a successful sex life like theirs.
“Every couple is different. This is just what works for us," Somers continued. "Alan has the blood pressure of an athlete, and he claims that sex is his daily cardio workout and says that it’s a hell of a lot more fun than a treadmill.”

Somers recently turned 73 and gained tons of praise from her A-list friends after posting a topless photo.
Covering her exposed chest with her hands, she kneeled down in the bushes and smiled big for the monumental post, revealing it was her husband who snapped the sultry shot.
