“Survivor 46” star Kenzie Petty announces she’s expecting first baby

“Sweet lil Petty popping up in September," she shared in a Mother's Day post on social media.

Mother's Day holds an extra special meaning for Survivor 46 star Kenzie Petty this year: The fan-favorite contestant is pregnant with her first child!

“I’ve gotten really good at keeping secrets and going on adventures this year, but it’s finally the perfect day to tell y’all WE’RE HAVING A BABY!!” Petty wrote in an Instagram post on Sunday. “Sweet lil Petty popping up in September.”

"It’s such an honor to be joining the club of motherhood. I love being pregnant, I love being alive, and I love my little bean. We couldn’t be more over the moon if we tried," she continued.

The sweet post also included several pictures of her maternity shoot featuring her husband, Jackson, whom she married in September 2023, as well as a basket containing children's books, toys, and baby clothes.

After wishing her friends and followers a happy Mother's Day, Petty continued her post, writing, "Jackson, the best husband in the world, thank you for making me a momma. Thank you for being my partner in crime, life and parenthood. I am forever grateful for you and for starting our little family. Even though it’s a day for the girlies, I literally couldn’t have done this without you and couldn’t have imagined a better father for my children."

Fellow Survivor alums took to the comments section on Petty's post to share their congratulations with the star. “Oh so MOTHER mother 🔥😍,” Survivor 42 winner Maryanne Oketch replied, while season 45 champ Dee Valladares added, “Congrats mama!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.”

The salon owner from Charlotte, NC started out her season, which is currently airing on CBS, as part of the losing Yanu tribe. She has persisted through the challenges, though, and has so far made it all the way to the final seven.
