‘Survivor 46’ promo video: Q laughs about being ‘too hard to kill’ after surviving Quit-gate [WATCH]

After last week’s “Survivor” drama in which Q Burdette begged unsuccessfully for everyone to vote him out at tribal council (something I’m lovingly referring to as Quit-gate), the 29-year-old real estate agent from Tennessee is now laughing about being “too hard to kill.” He’s one of just nine players left in the game as the ninth episode, titled “Spicy Jeff,” airs Wednesday, April 24 on CBS. Watch the “Survivor 46” promo video above.

The sneak peek clip begins with Q’s former Yanu tribe mate, Kenzie Petty, returning to camp after the “bizarre” tribal council. “Q tried to quit!” she tells the camera. “Everyone was so confused, but we had a plan to get out Tevin and we weren’t gonna let Q mess it up. If you want to leave, there’s the door, baby. Walk out — don’t make us do it for you.”

Around the camp fire, Kenzie claims she’s “so mad” and “pissed” with Q, her supposed close ally. Maria Shrime Gonzalez agrees, noting that she’s “upset” and “surprised,” “That just put a massive target on him,” Maria states openly. “I don’t understand what he was trying to have happen.”

The rest of the promo video focuses entirely on Q, so grab some popcorn as things are about to get wild! Here are his words in their entirety: “Going into tribal, I was trying to switch all of the votes at the last second [from Tevin Davis to Tiffany Nicole Ervin] and it caused everything to go crazy at tribal. I felt guilty for screwing up everybody’s game, and in my everyday life when I make a mistake, I raise my hand and I own up to it. So I tried to take the heat and kind of fall on my own sword. But in the end, they didn’t vote me like I asked them to. Damn, I guess I’m too hard to kill right now [laughs].”

Find out how all of the fallout from Quit-gate affects the rest of the game on Wednesday night at 8/7c. The nine remaining players are Q, Kenzie, Maria, Tiffany, Hunter McKnight, Charlie Davis, Liz Wilcox, Ben Katzman and Venus Vafa.
