‘Survivor 46’ episode 3 sneak peek video: Venus wants Hunter gone to ‘break that chain’ with Tevin [WATCH]

So far on “Survivor 46,” the Nami tribe has won every single challenge, which means viewers haven’t seen its six players — Hunter McKnight, Liz Wilcox, Randen Montalvo, Soda Thompson, Tevin Davis and Venus Vafa — strategize very much. But that looks to be changing in the upcoming March 13 episode. In CBS’s sneak peek video for Episode 3 (watch above), Venus tells Randen about her desire to vote Hunter out of the game in order to “break that chain” with Tevin.

“We see him every season,” Venus states in a private confessional about the type of player Hunter is. “There’s always that one big, buff guy. ‘I’m the provider. You can’t vote me out.’ And as a person, I think Hunter is a really sweet dude. But also, I can see right through that facade.”

The 24-year-old data analyst from Toronto then has a private meeting with Randen in which she proclaims, “Tevin and Hunter are running this game and if you don’t see that then …”

Randen seems to shrug off her accusation, noting, “I can’t see your perspective unless you provide your perspective. I’m asking you.”

“My perspective is, I’m not blind,” she deadpans. “If you just look around, who has the greatest link with as many people?”

Later on, Venus explains her thoughts further to the audience. “Hunter has Tevin on lock,” she says. “He has that connection. I want Hunter out because I feel like he has too many links with too many people, and we need to break that chain immediately.”

The relationship between Venus and Randen has been a whirlwind so far this season. In the first episode, he came after her for being “Parvati light.” But then Randen decided that he trusted Venus, and he confided in only her that he had discovered the Beware Advantage.

To date, the two castaways that have gone home both came from the Yanu tribe: David Jelinsky and Jessica “Jess” Chong. Will they lose a third person this week, or will the Nami tribe or the Siga tribe finally feel the agony of defeat? Find out when the third episode, titled “Wackadoodles Win,” airs Wednesday night on CBS. (Note that the reality TV show is returning to 90-minute episodes beginning this week.)
