‘Survivor 46’ deleted scene: Why is Liz ‘unbelievably frustrated’ after winning food reward? [WATCH]

After winning the combined reward/immunity challenge during the fifth episode of “Survivor 46,” the Nami tribe returned to camp to chomp down on all of their fresh fruit and yummy pastries. However, Liz Wilcox found herself being “unbelievably frustrated” at the sight of all of the food she could not eat because of her dietary restrictions. Of the entire reward, the only thing the 35-year-old marketing strategist from Florida wasn’t allergic to were apples. Watch the “Survivor 46” deleted scene above.

The clip begins with Liz, Soda ThompsonTevin Davis and Venus Vafa arriving at their beach after the challenge. (Hunter McKnight was not present because he was on the journey.) “Fifth immunity win in a row,” Venus declared as she held up the Tiki Man triumphantly.

The food reward consisted of brownies, Oreos, cinnamon buns, cupcakes, plums, oranges, bananas, pineapples, watermelons and, of course, apples. “The apples are all Liz’s, that’s the only thing she can eat,” Soda announced to everyone.

In a private confessional, Liz told the audience, “I knew coming into the game that I wasn’t gonna eat as much as everyone. I can only eat the apples. I can’t eat any of the other things because I’m allergic. I don’t want to have a reaction and then really, really be out of the game.”

Venus, Soda and Tevin held up their brownies for a celebratory “cheers,” and Liz proclaimed that she wasn’t hungry anymore because she was “upset.” As she explained to the group, “I have to compete in the next challenge and I have three apples and you guys have so much. I’m just nervous.”

As Liz walked away from the camp, Venus was seen enjoying her brownie a bit too much. “I needed these calories and I’m so glad I get them. I want to make love to this brownie,” she stated. And Soda quickly urged her, “Do it.”

Liz later told the camera, “I’m unbelievably frustrated that I can’t have as many calories. We’re on this wild ‘Survivor’ Hall of Fame winning streak and I don’t want to be the one to end it … I’m just going to have to remember it’s a game. I came here to win. I came here to play. And I’m just gonna keep that right here [in my mind] so I can overcome it.”
