8:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Survivor’!” In the second episode, Reba and Belo won the combined reward/immunity challenge, sending Lulu back to tribal council again. Sabiyah didn’t have a vote because she had yet to complete her Beware Advantage task of melting her candle, and Brandon lost his vote at the summit. (At that same summit, Drew won a Safety Without Power advantage.) Later at tribal council, Brandon was unanimously voted out by his tribe, becoming the second person to leave the game. Sixteen people remain on the island — who will be voted out tonight?

8:02 p.m. — Back at the Lulu camp, Kaleb “never second-guessed” his decision to vote for Brandon. Sabiyah claims she does not “dislike Emily” and she hopes they can go forward as a strong four. Sabiyah then gives Emily’s Shot in the Dark back to her. Emily is confused about why Jeff only read two votes and properly assumes that there were only three votes cast, meaning Sabiyah didn’t vote. But Sabiyah lies and says she did vote — drama! Kaleb calls the Lulu tribe “the island of misfit toys” lol.

8:05 p.m. — It’s Day 6 at the Belo camp and Jake is blowing onto the fire to try to get it started. Suddenly he passes out and tumbles near the fire. Kendra likens it to a “small seizure” and that it’s “very scary.” Jake explains that he saw stars but that he’s not quite sure what happened. At the water well, Kendra says she loves everyone but admits she initially threw out Jake’s name because he’s a lawyer. Jake and Kendra then have their first ever strategy discussion … on Day 6! Never too late to start.

8:08 p.m. — At the Reba beach, a crab has eaten their breakfast — womp womp. Austin found the Beware Advantage in the season premiere but still has not found the time to locate the idol. He brings Drew along with him to find the tree that designates the “X” in the decoded tribe sign. Drew says their mission requires some “killer instinct.” Dee tells Julie that Austin and Drew have a strong bond and have something secret going on. They see Drew digging and ask him if he’s looking for coconuts, and he kinda freaks out and walks the wrong way. Drew lies and says he saw Sifu digging and that’s why he was searching in that area. Austin arrives and says these are the four people that can go all the way. Dee compares the whole scenario to a “boyfriend cheating” on her.

8:16 p.m. — “Come on in!” It’s time for the first reward challenge of Season 45. The tribes will start in the ocean and race to the beach and then shoot a ball over a ramp, at which point someone has to throw rings onto pegs. The first tribe to finish will win a large fruit platter. The second tribe will win a small, but still appetizing, fruit platter. In addition, the winning tribe will send one person to a losing tribe where they can steal one item. Bruce and Jake sit out for Belo, while J and Drew sit out for Reba.

8:19 p.m. — Lulu is the first tribe to make it to the beach, with Kaleb successfully throwing his ball onto the ramp. Emily takes a big tumble while running to catch her ball, but ultimately she perseveres, making Lulu the first to complete the initial stage. Belo is the next to move to the ring-throwing section, followed by Reba. Kaleb throws his rings onto the pegs like a boss, and Lulu wins their first challenge! Second place goes to Reba.

8:22 p.m. — Belo and Reba return to their camps. Lulu tells Jeff that Kaleb will be the one who will raid a camp. Before we find out what camp Kaleb will go to, there’s a commercial break.

8:27 p.m. — Kaleb receives a Goodwill advantage, which can restore a lost vote, and he must give it to someone at the camp he visits. Kaleb arrives at the Reba beach and immediately hugs everyone there. Sifu shows off his air guitar skills while J sings along with him. Kaleb announces that he wants to take their fishing gear, but will leave them with their spear. He decides to meet with them each one on one, and the Reba tribe members are onto his social abilities. Drew confesses that he received the Safety Without Power advantage, and so Kaleb gifts him with the Goodwill advantage. Drew immediately tells Austin and Dee about his new power, to try to regain trust with Dee.

8:32 p.m. — Back at the Lulu camp, Sean says they are “no longer the Lulu losers” after winning reward. He thinks that Emily has really “made a shift” in her demeanor and she’s no longer as chaotic as she was on Day 1. Sean and Sabiyah solidify their bond. Sabiyah readily admits that she doesn’t want to sit next to Kaleb in the end because he’s so well-liked. The duo bring in Emily and say they are willing to vote out Kaleb if they lose. “My jaw just drops,” Emily confesses. She finally has an opening to advance in the game. Kaleb returns to camp and has no idea that he’s being seen as such a threat to his fellow tribe members.

8:36 p.m. — At Belo, Jake is the “king” of the underwater world as he fishes. Katurah, Kellie and Kendra emphasize their girls’ alliance and debate whether to vote out Jake or Bruce if they lose immunity. Katurah has her sights set on ousting Bruce. Kellie touches base with Brando, as they are both in the middle of their six-member tribe. Kellie will “piss off some people” no matter which way she goes.

8:39 p.m. — Austin tells Dee and Julie about his Beware Advantage. Dee and Julie decide to work with them to dig around the tree to find the idol. Drew is “ready to give up” after digging for hours. Dee finds a rope under the palm tree. They follow it to a hammer that reads, “Break a rock near water well.” As they are hiding the rope in the bushes, J walks up. The girls give Austin the hammer and he starts smashing rocks until he finds the hidden immunity idol. It’s only good for one tribal council, however if he decides to sacrifice his vote once, it will extend to the merge, and if he sacrifices his vote twice, it will last to the Final 5.

8:49 p.m. — It’s Day 7 and time for the immunity challenge. The tribes will use a cart to retrieve high-up keys and then disassemble the cart to push it through a grate, and finish up by completing an enormous cube puzzle. Reba sits out Julie and Dee. Belo sits out Brando and Kellie. Kaleb wishes his competitors “best of luck,” showing off his social skills. Belo is first to finish the cart portion, and also the first to reach the puzzle. Bruce curses out Kaleb for standing in his way, which irritates some of the other players. Reba wins immunity! Second place goes to Belo. That means poor Lulu will go to tribal council for the third time in a row. Emily is “honestly afraid” about what will happen later on.

8:57 p.m. — It’s scramble time at Lulu. Kaleb doesn’t think he can save Emily this time around. He suspects that Sabiyah and Sean will join him in voting for Emily. Sabiyah lets Kaleb believe he’s running the show, but she intends on voting him out. Sabiyah plans on dropping her candle in the fire at tribal council so that the wax will melt and she’ll get her idol. Emily confronts Kaleb and tells him he is going home unless he votes for Sabiyah. Does he believe her?

9:07 p.m. — Lulu arrives at tribal council and Sabiyah places her candle in the fire. Jeff asks her, “What’s up?” She comes clean about not having a vote until the candle melts. She then proceeds to stoke the fire with her stick — a tribal council first! “It’s a ‘Survivor’ cookout,” Jeff jokes. Emily notes that the other three are working together and she’s on the outs. Sabiyah confirms as much to Jeff. She then pulls her item out of the fire as Sean soaks it in water. Once it cools down, Sabiyah puts it in her pocket.

9:20 p.m. — When Sabiyah goes to vote, she reads the instructions and they’re the same as Austin’s. If she doesn’t vote, the idol will extend to the merge. If she does vote, the idol will expire tonight. Jeff reads the votes: Sabiyah, Kaleb, Sabiyah. That means Kaleb believed Emily! Sabiyah leaves the game with an idol in her pocket, and Sean looks devastated to now be all alone.

9:30 p.m. — Next time on “Survivor,” it’s “drop your buffs” time as the tribes are switched up. Sabiyah says she didn’t vote because she didn’t know she needed to. “It’s good to know that they were scared,” she says in her parting words.
