Daisy Ridley sure knows how to make an entrance. The 23-year-old actress was an unknown last year until she was cast in the new installments of the blockbuster Star Wars sequels. Now, the aspiring singer also has revealed that she’s recorded a song with none other than the legendary Barbra Streisand!

“I’m gonna end this spate of pictures detailing my insane weekend with this… Ummmmmmmmmmmm…” she captioned a snapshot of herself and Babs, which was posted on the page next to images of her whirlwind trip to the Oscars, where the Hollywood newcomer was a presenter.

Ridley also spent Saturday working with Streisand. Star Wars director J.J. Abrams let it slip last week that Ridley had a musical project in the works.

“On Saturday, this weekend, she is going to record a song with an unnamed person, but let’s just say a massive superstar,” he said at the U.S.-Ireland Alliance’s Oscar Wilde Awards last week.

The up-and-coming star herself explained further at the Oscars. “I can tell you everyone’s guesses are way off,” she told E! News. “When J.J. said 'superstar,’ he meant a legendary, awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping superstar."

Yep, those phrases describe Streisand perfectly. The winner of multiple Emmys, Grammys, Oscars, and an honorary Tony Award — that counts as an EGOT, right? — is quite the mentor!

No word yet on when Jessica Simpson will brief Ridley on running a fashion empire, Kylie Jenner will advise her on stepping up her Snapchat game, or Justin Bieber will offer tips on how to apologize for any missteps she might make during the long career ahead of her.
