Surprise! Major Lazer fills Kali Uchis spot at ACL Fest, at least for Weekend One

Austin City Limits Music Festival updated the schedule on Wednesday, with EDM act Major Lazer taking the Friday slot vacated by Kali Uchis.

On Tuesday, Kali Uchis announced on Instagram that her show that night in El Paso would be the last of her RMIV tour.

Major Lazer, with Ape Drums, Diplo and Walshy Fire, also played the fest in 2016 in a set we described as "ACL's filthiest party" with "Twerking. Everywhere."

They'll perform at 6:10 p.m. Friday on the American Express stage. The same slot on Weekend Two is empty on the schedule as of now.
