Astralwerks has released Surf Mesa’s new single, “Another Life,” featuring acclaimed singer-songwriters FLETCHER and Josh Golden on vocals.

“I’ve been a fan of FLETCHER since I first heard her record ‘Bitter’ with my friend Kito and Josh Golden is a rising star in the modern alternative space,” says Surf Mesa. “I’m inspired and grateful to have two of my favorite vocalists collaborating with me on this track. Hearing them harmonize gives me the chills.”

Surf Mesa’s first Platinum record – for “ily (i love you baby)” ft. Emilee, which has amassed over 2.5 billion combined global streams – has set the stage for additional firsts: Surf’s debut festival performances and his first soundtrack appearance. In addition to his performance at Splash House last weekend, he’ll play CRSSD, Life Is Beautiful, Escapade, Firefly and Suwannee Hulaween. Surf has three tracks on the forthcoming He’s All That (Music From The Netflix Film), which will be released by Astralwerks on August 27. “Carried Away,” his 2020 collaboration with Madison Beer, is the first track on the project. The collection also includes the Tchami remix of “Carried Away” and “ily (i love you baby).”

Recently giving fans a glimpse of a “Day In The Life” of Surf Mesa, SPIN noted, “everything this 21-year-old touches turns to warm, glistening, buttery gold…[he] continues to help us reconceive, reimagine and, most importantly, feel the love through his music.” American Songwriter said, “Surf Mesa’s take on dance music is a breath of fresh air” while Dancing Astronaut declared, “Surf Mesa has permanently stamped his name as one to watch in the industry.” EUPHORIA. Magazine observed, “Surf Mesa dominated last year’s summer music game with smash hit ‘ily’ ft Emilee. This summer, he’s back to do it all over again…” Additionally, VEVO has named him a DSCVR Artist To Watch for 2021.
