The Superpower Paramount+ release date is Monday, September 18, 2023.

The documentary includes dramatic scenes of when the first bombs were dropped in February 2022. The documentary discusses the war more widely, including several perspectives and the unity among the people of Ukraine.

Sean Penn and Aaron Kaufman serve as the directors of the film. Sean Penn, Billy Smith, Sergei Bespalov, Danny Gabai, Lauren Terp, Jenia Bilous, Eric Weinrib are the producers, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself serves as the writer.
