Supermodels Are Wearing This Amal Clooney-Approved Boot Trend That's Under $150 at Nordstrom

What do supermodels and Amal Clooney have in common? A lot — that's what. Impeccable style, impeccable hair, and an impeccable taste in shoes, of which a pair of classic black boots ranks at the top. Good thing plenty of styles that would certainly earn the stamp of approval from both models and Clooney are still on sale at Nordstrom.

While out and about in London, Emily Ratajkowski styled what appeared to be black skinny jeans and a black wool wrap coat with heeled Paris Texas boots. She rounded out her look with a Emma Brewin leopard hat and Ray-Ban sunglasses. Chic! Simple! The perfect winter uniform!

That said, Emrata just reminded us about the power of black knee-highs, and while some might have been distracted by her big, fuzzy bucket hat (the muppet hat, if you will), we were immediately drawn to her footwear of choice. Sometimes, it's the simple things that make the most impact, after all, and her boots definitely did that.

Much like an LBD or black trousers, black knee-high boots are a no-fail shoe option whenever you just don't know. And that can happen a lot (at least for me!) EmRata wore hers with black skinnies, Clooney has worn hers with everything from mini skirts to leather pants, and you can wear yours with just about everything in between.
