Superfan inspired by Kobe Bryant has lost 170 pounds since his final game
Los Angeles Lakers superfan Chris Huerta took some inspiration after seeing Kobe Bryant drop 60 points in his final game with the team.
Huerta decided it was time to get in shape, and he stayed committed to his plan. Seventeen months later, Huerta has dropped 170 pounds.
Down 170 lbs since @kobebryant 's last game. Took it one day at time with that #MambaMentality. Happy #Ko8be24 !! #KobeWeek #KobeBryant #Ko8e24ِ #LakeShow @Lakers @JeanieBuss @geeter3 @LAIreland @ @ramonashelburne @LakersReporter #bestever pic.twitter.com/FeW0245MjC

As you can see, Huerta says he’s used “Mamba Mentality” as part of his motivation to lose the weight.
Bryant will have his numbers retired by the Lakers Monday night, which gave Huerta a convenient way to give an update on his quest to get in shape. It’s been 17 months since Bryant’s final game, which means Huerta has lost an average of 10 pounds per month. That’s really impressive.
He’s not done yet, though. Based on some of his other tweets, Huerta is out to lose some more weight.
I've never been committed to anything. I always quit because I always told myself "I can't do this."
So,here we are 80 weeks later. Looking forward to the new year to set some new goals.
Ive lost 170 pounds thus far, I'm really going to try to make that 180 mark. pic.twitter.com/cz6v5YGKLe

That’s one heck of an accomplishment. Congrats to Huerta for setting a goal and having the tenacity to stick with it.
Anyone who wants to get in better shape in 2018 should take note: With the right motivation, you can achieve your goal.
