The Super Bowl LVIII pre-game show featured Reba McEntire, Post Malone, and Andra Day taking the stage at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas before the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers game.

Day took the stage first to sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” known as the Black national anthem. The Golden Globe winner was joined by American Sign Language interpreter Shaheem Sánchez.

“It’s a hymn of triumph, and that’s what I want people to encounter when I sing this song,” Day told People ahead of the big game. “I want them to know that we have victory, and we have peace already… It feels like there’s an honor.”

Post Malone took the stage next to sing an acoustic version of “America the Beautiful.” Ahead of his performance, the star told Fox News Digital he was “shi**ing my pants” noting that he prepared for the moment by waking up “hugged my baby, and said hopefully your dad doesn’t mess it up on the grandest stage of them all.”

McEntire closed the pre-game show by performing the National Anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Ahead of her performance, McEntire took to social media to recall that she sang the National Anthem 50 years ago during a rodeo.

“This ain’t my first rodeo! I’d never have imagined when I sang the anthem at the National Finals Rodeo 50 years ago that I’d be singing it today at the Super Bowl. I’m so honored to be part of this,” she posted on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
