It’s official: The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year, this time against the San Francisco 49ers. The two teams last faced off at the Super Bowl in 2020 and in October 2022, with the Chiefs winning 31-20 and 44-23, respectively. This year’s game will be a rematch.

Who Is Performing at the Super Bowl?
Usher will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, and the national anthem will be sung by country music star Reba McEntire and signed in American Sign Language by SAG Award-winning CODA star Daniel Durant. Post Malone will sing “America the Beautiful” (signed by Anjel Piñero) and Golden Globes-winning The United States vs. Billie Holiday actress Andra Day will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing” (signed by choreographer and actor Shaheem Sanchez).
Sanchez will also perform the ASL version of Usher’s halftime show.
Will Taylor Swift Attend or Perform at the 2024 Super Bowl?
Before heading to Tokyo to continue The Eras Tour, Taylor Swift attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ victorious AFC Championship game took to the field to celebrate boyfriend and tight end Travis Kelce’s big win against the Baltimore Ravens.
But will Swift attend the Super Bowl today? Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, told People that the 14-time Grammy-winning star is indeed coming to the big game. The Japanese Embassy also released a statement reassuring fans that Swift could make it in time for the Super Bowl: “Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins.”
AP reports that eagle-eyed Swifties and aviation journalists tracked Swift’s private jet as it left from Japan’s Haneda Airport and arrived at LAX airport yesterday afternoon.

Tickets for the Super Bowl LVIII are still available but know that you’ll be paying a premium to watch the Chiefs and 49ers (and potentially Swift) in the flesh. Super Bowl ticket prices have dropped by at least $1,000 in the last week, with seats going for $5,746 and up on resale platforms such as Gametime, SeatGeek, StubHub, VividSeats, Ticketmaster, Ticket Liquidator and Ticket Network.
