Sunny Hostin says Americans who listen to President Trump's coronavirus task force briefings do so 'at their own peril'

Following President Trump’s controversial comments where he appeared to suggest using disinfectants to combat coronavirus infections, The View co-host Sunny Hostin warns that Trump’s briefings could be hazardous to Americans watching at home, and called for an end to live broadcasts of them.

“I don’t think that we should be airing these conferences in real-time,” said Hostin. “Americans listen to the misinformation and the musings coming from this president at their own peril,” she continued.

Hostin also criticized the experts present at the briefings, including Dr. Deborah Birx, who have done little to correct the president during his presentations.

“The people that are flanking him are also complicit at this point, like the Dr. Birxes that aren’t saying anything,” added Hostin.
