Sunday Drive: Coupes reign in Geneva while a strange truck delivers the mail
The biggest generator of automotive news last week was, not surprisingly, the Geneva Motor Show. This annual event in Switzerland is always a monumental date on the automotive calendar, and the 2018 edition brought just as many sweet bits of motoring goodness as you'd expect. Our favorite debut from Geneva was the RUF CTR, a beautiful green coupe hewn from carbon fiber and blessed with iconic 911-based good looks.
The most clicked-on story from Autoblog's Geneva coverage was our coverage of the debut of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, which isn't actually a coupe at all. But then, Mercedes has been bending the definitions of body types since the first CLS debuted as a 2005 model. Speaking of which, another super popular story was our comparison between the new GT and the most recent CLS. Spoiler alert: they're pretty similar.
Moving on from Geneva, spy shots are always big draws for our readers, and last week was no different. Interestingly enough, though, the most-clicked-on set of spy shots was of a potential new van for the United States Postal Service (not to be confused with this other vehicle that the U.S.P.S. is testing). An enthusiast vehicle it is not, but if we're going to start seeing a bunch of these upright mobiles on the roads, we want to know as much about them as we can.
