Film lovers, filmmakers, industry insiders, actors, artists and more are expected to return en masse for the milestone festivities that will include a packed calendar of parties, panels, concerts, gatherings and networking opportunities, in addition to all the big-screen showings. Below is a roundup of all of the intel The Hollywood Reporter has gathered thus far, featuring events in Park City. Acura House of Energy

Acura returns to Sundance for a 14th year as presenting sponsor and official vehicle of the festival by bringing new “energy” to its commitment to uplift independent artists and underrepresented through official Sundance programming and a reimagined, revamped space dubbed the Acura House of Energy. Highlights include film pacts with Nora Fingscheidt’s The Outrun starring and Alessandra Lacorazza’s In The Summers and programming partnerships with GLAAD, WIF, ASCAP and Gold House and a collaboration with IMDb for the IMDb Studio. For 13 consecutive years, Adobe has had a presence at Sundance to support and celebrate independent and emerging filmmakers. As presenting sponsor and official editing platform of this year’s fest, Adobe returns with an inaugural space. The Impact Lounge

An official partner of this year’s festival, the Caspian Agency’s Impact Lounge will focus on using film as a platform for positive change and social impact. The initiative aims to unite creators and changemakers to create an ecosystem promoting socially conscious and responsible media. The house returns for a fifth annual activation “celebrating the truth, power and culture of the Latinx creators, writers, showrunners, actors and visionaries who help shape the entertainment industry.” Daily programming from Jan. 19-21. The top Hollywood talent agency hosts a private, invitation-only house curated by UTA’s entertainment marketing division with programming from Jan. 19-21.

ASCAP Music Cafe

The 26th annual edition presented by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. Two days of live music performances and composer interviews from Jan. 21-22 in partnership with longtime sponsor and official vehicle of the festival, Acura. The café will feature a performance from the DIG! XX Dandy Jonestown Revue, comprised of members from the dueling rock bands featured in the Sundance grand jury award-winning rock documentary DIG!. Joel Gion, Jeff Davies and Miranda Lee Richards (Brian Jonestown Massacre) and Zia McCabe and Eric Hedford (Dandy Warhols) will take the stage to celebrate the 20th anniversary edition of the film. Also appearing will be singer-songwriter Evan Bartels, Americana supergroup Fantastic Cat, folk singer-songwriter Mary Scholz, and Nigerian-American singer-songwriter Ogi. ASCAP Screen Time will host three conversations with creators behind some of the festival’s most anticipated films. The African American Policy Forum (AAPF) and the Black Showrunner Collective are hosting the fourth iteration of The Big Conversation’s The Story Of Us — Surviving The War On Woke: Black Storytelling in the Age of Backlash. The conversation will be moderated by Kimberlé Crenshaw and feature Reggie Rock Bythewood, Valerie Complex, Jeanell English, Patrick Gaspard and other Black voices from the film and television industry to assess the ways in which the backlash against global demands for racial justice in 2020 has exposed Hollywood’s fragile commitment to Black storytelling.
