Sundance 2012 Backbeat: New Venue Park City Live Hosts Parties With Drake, Common, Deadmau5, LMFAO

Newly-opened VIP club Park City Live debuted this week, coinciding with the Sundance Film Festival, with a series of high-profile parties that included performances from Afrojack, Red Foo of LMFAO, Deadmau5 and OneRepublic and appearances by Drake, Common and Paris Hilton, among others.

The venue, formerly called Harry O’s, has been remodeled and revitalized by new owner Kathryn Burns, and officially opened its doors Jan. 19. Other performers confirmed for later in the week include Third Eye Blind and Big Sean.

Sunday night’s Deadmau5 show featured a two hour-long opening DJ set by Motley Crüe’s Tommy Lee before the he hit the stage in front of a devoted crowd, some of whom sported homemade mouse heads modeled after the DJ’s trademark logo.

Drake & Friends were the celebrity hosts of the party Monday night, while Tuesday night saw Common stop by, though the feuding rappers never crossed paths. LMFAO’s Red Foo and the Party Crew performed Saturday, Jan. 21, and were spotted with Burns and hotel heiress Paris Hilton after the show.
