Summer Thriller "Old" Premieres in NYC

Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan debuted his latest thriller Old at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City earlier this week. The writer and director, best known for his movie The Sixth Sense , was surrounded on the red carpet by his wife and three daughters, including singer-songwriter Saleka Shyamalan who wrote a song for the film. Old is based on the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters. The book was gifted to Shyamalan by his daughters. The film, set in the Dominican Republic, follows a family on a tropical holiday who discover that the secluded beach where they are relaxing for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly.
