A summer of music returning to Chaumont

Apr. 11—CHAUMONT — The Monday Music on the Lake returns to Chaumont this summer with three concerts presented by the Lyme Performing Arts Council.

The 6 p.m. concerts are at Bicentennial Park, Route 12E, across from the Chaumont Fire Hall. This year's lineup:

—June 24 — Morris & the Hepcats (Rockabilly/rock-n-roll)

—July 22 — Undefeated (contemporary rock)

—Aug. 19 — The Nelson Brothers (country)

The public is invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live outdoor music. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Three Mile Bay and Chaumont Volunteer Fire Departments.

The concert series is made possible with the support of a grant from the Northern New York Community Foundation.

—The 2024 BBQ 'n' Blues will be held Sunday, Sept. 8, at Chaumont Fire Hall, featuring first-class blues from the Ron Spencer Band and the Tas Cru Band. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting Chaumont Volunteer Fire Department.
