The year may have just begun, but festival season is already around the corner.

Some of the biggest acts in music, from Ed Sheeran to Megan Thee Stallion, are hitting the stage at music festivals around the country this summer. As each jam-packed event announces its dates, location and lineup, PEOPLE has got you covered with all the information you'll need to get in the crowd.

Below are the top music festivals in the U.S. throughout summer 2024.

Dreamville Festival

J. Cole's Dreamville Festival is coming back to Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, from April 6-7 with headliners including the "Middle Child" rapper, SZA, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. Additional artists featured on this year's lineup are Lil Yachty, ScHoolboy Q, Sexyy Red, Rema, Jeezy, Monica and Muni Long, among others.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival

This year, Coachella features headlining acts Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator and Doja Cat — as well as a No Doubt reunion. Held over two weekends (April 12-14 and April 19-21) at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, the festival's stacked lineup also includes Peso Pluma, Sabrina Carpenter, Tinashe, Blur, Ice Spice, Bleachers, Grimes, J Balvin, Reneé Rapp, Bebe Rexha, Victoria Monét, Chloe Bailey and Chappell Roan, among other acts.

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival

The iconic New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival returns to Fair Grounds Race Course in the Louisiana city over two weekends: April 25-28 and May 2-5. Among the stacked list of performers are The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, The Killers, Neil Young with Crazy Horse, Hozier, Queen Latifah, Vampire Weekend, Heart, Bonnie Raitt, Fantasia, The Beach Boys and Earth, Wind & Fire as well as a tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett with the Coral Reefer Band.

Brightside Music Festival

Get ready to rock out with Sublime, 311, Goldfinger, Story of the Year and more acts at Brightside Music Festival. Held at Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, the one-day event is set to go down on April 27.

BeachLife Festival

Sting, Incubus and My Morning Jacket are heading down to the waterfront of Redondo Beach, California, to deliver headlining performances at this year's BeachLife Festival. Set for May 3-5, other acts taking the stage include Seal, Devo, Santigold, Trey Anastasio + Classic TAB, ZZ Top, Margo Price and Sugar Ray.

Shaky Knees Music Festival

Head down to Atlanta's Central Park from May 3-5 to catch headlining performances from Noah Kahan, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters at Shaky Knees Music Festival. Also playing sets throughout the weekend are Arcade Fire, Young the Giant, The Offspring, Girl in Red, Billy Idol, Portugal. The Man, Holly Humberstone and more.

Sol Blume Festival

Snoh Aalegra, KAYTRAMINÉ (a.k.a. KAYTRANADA and Aminé) and SZA serve as headliners for this year's Sol Blume Festival at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California. Taking place from May 3-5, the lineup also features Omar Apollo, PinkPantheress, JoJo, Wale, Kelela, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Ari Lennox, Doechii, Ayra Starr, Leon Thomas and more acts.

Lovin' Life Music Festival

With headliners Post Malone, Stevie Nicks and Noah Kahan on board, Lovin' Life Music Festival will feel like a genre-spanning Spotify playlist IRL when the three-day event goes down in Charlotte, North Carolina, from May 3-5. Other artists set to perform include The Avett Brothers, Maggie Rogers, The Chainsmokers, The Fray, Dashboard Confessional, Young the Giant, Dominic Fike and more.

Lovers & Friends Festival

Lovers & Friends, the festival for fans of throwback R&B music and more, is back for its third year at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on May 4 with headlining performances from Janet Jackson, Backstreet Boys and Usher — who will perform his classic Confessions album. Also taking the stage are Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Nelly Furtado, Ciara, Ja Rule, Ashanti, T-Pain, Ludacris, Nelly, Brandy, JoJo, Kelly Rowland and Lil Wayne, among others.

Welcome to Rockville Festival

Looking to see Mötley Crüe, Limp Bizkit, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Jelly Roll, Queens of the Stone Age, Evanescence, Sum 41, Insane Clown Posse, Judas Priest and more rock stars this summer? Head down to Welcome to Rockville Festival at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, taking place from May 9-12.

Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit

Mary J. Blige is bringing her third annual Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit to her native New York City from May 10-12. Held at several venues in multiple boroughs, the three-day event will feature many events, including a comedy show at the Apollo Theatre with Tiffany Haddish and a concert at the Barclays Center with Blige, 50 Cent, Jill Scott, Fat Joe and more. "Having the opportunity to continue to uplift, inspire, and build within my community is the reason I created this festival," said Blige in a statement. "Nobody does it like New York, so get ready."

Cruel World Festival

Rock fans will want to check out Cruel World Festival, a one-day event headlined by Duran Duran on May 11 and held at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Other performers on the lineup include Interpol, Blondie, Simple Minds, Placebo, Soft Cell, Adam Ant and the supergroup DREAMCAR, which features members of AFI and No Doubt.

Hangout Festival

Zach Bryan, Lana Del Rey and ODESZA are scheduled to headline Hangout Festival, which takes place from May 17-19 on the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Other artists performing at the three-day festival include The Chainsmokers, Reneé Rapp, Doechii, Nelly, Megan Moroney and Chappell Roan, among others.

Lightning in a Bottle Festival

Fans of dance music and beyond will want to attend Lightning in a Bottle Festival, which does down May 22-27 at Buena Vista Lake in Southern California. Performers for this year's iteration include Skrillex, Labrinth, James Blake, M.I.A., Fatboy Slim, Aluna, Mura Masa, Honey Dijon, Mette and more.

BottleRock Napa Valley

Held at Napa Valley Expo in the heart of California's wine country, BottleRock Napa Valley is a three-day festival set to go down from May 24-26. Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran, Stevie Nicks and Maná will serve as headliners, while the lineup also features acts including Kali Uchis, Megan Thee Stallion, Norah Jones, Nelly, T-Pain and Bebe Rexha.

Boston Calling

Ed Sheeran, Tyler Childers and The Killers are set to headline Boston Calling, which will be held from May 24-26 at Harvard Athletic Complex in Boston. Other artists slated to perform include Leon Bridges, Trey Anastasio & Classic TAB, Hozier, Reneé Rapp, Megan Thee Stallion and Young the Giant.

Gazebo Festival

Jack Harlow is launching Gazebo Festival, which will feature headlining performances from the "Lovin' on Me" rapper and SZA at Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Held over May 25-26, the event will also feature acts including Omar Apollo, PinkPantheress and Vince Staples as well as a DJ set from James Blake.

TwoGether Land Festival

Dallas residents and visitors will likely want to check out TwoGether Land Festival, which goes down from May 25-26 at Fair Park in the Texas city. Headliners include Lil Wayne and Summer Walker, while the lineup also features Latto, Gucci Mane, Muni Long, Three 6 Mafia, Tyla and more.

Movement Electronic Music Festival

Movement Festival is bringing high-energy music to Hart Plaza in Detroit from May 25-27. Among the acts featured on the lineup are Ludacris, Idris Elba, Dom Dolla, Fatboy Slim and Honey Dijon, while the festival will also include a DJ set from James Blake.

Railbird Music Festival

The lineup for Railbird Music Festival features headliners Noah Kahan, Turnpike Troubadours, Chris Stapleton and Hozier, who will take the stage at The Infield at Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky, from June 1-2. Performances from Counting Crows, Wynonna Judd, Elle King, Ryan Beatty, Brittney Spencer, Hailey Whitters, Kip Moore and others will also take place.

Roots Picnic

Lil Wayne, Nas, Victoria Monét and Jill Scott are set to headline this year's Roots Picnic at The Mann Center in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park on June 1-2. The festival will also feature artists including Gunna, Travis Scott, Sexxy Red, Tyla, Cam'ron, Wale, Smino and more. This year's lineup also includes a special performance from André 3000.

OUTLOUD Music Festival at WeHo Pride

Pride Month will kick off with OUTLOUD Music Festival at West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles from June 1-2. Headlined by Kylie Minogue, Janelle Monáe and Diplo + Friends, the two-day event will also feature sets from Doechii, Ashnikko, Noah Cyrus, Trixie Mattel, Keke Palmer, Big Freedia and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, among others.

Hot 97 Summer Jam

One of New York's most notable hip-hop concerts, Hot 97 Summer Jam, is back on June 2 at UBS Arena in Belmont Park. Artists set to perform include Doja Cat, Offset, Sexyy Red, Method Man & Redman of Wu-Tang Clan, Sleepy Hallow, Davido, 41 [Kyle Richh, Jenn Carter and Tata] and Tee Grizzley.

CMA Fest

CMA Fest is returning with a massive lineup of country stars set to perform across 10 stages in downtown Nashville including Nissan Stadium, Ascend Amphitheater and more from June 6-9. The Governors Ball Music Festival takes place from June 7-9 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York City's Queens borough. Headlining performers include Post Malone, The Killers, SZA, Rauw Alejandro, 21 Savage and Peso Pluma, while the lineup also includes FLO, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sabrina Carpenter, Sexyy Red and Victoria Monét.

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival

Taking place over four days from from June 13-16 at the Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tennessee, is Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Headlining acts include Pretty Lights, Fisher, Post Malone, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fred Again..., while the lineup also features T-Pain, Melanie Martinez, Diplo, Jon Batiste, Reneé Rapp, Megan Thee Stallion and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Summerfest

Summerfest is back and massive as ever. Held over three weekends — June 20-22, June 27-29 and July 4-6, 2024 — the music festival, presented by American Family Insurance, will feature over 900 artists performing across 12 stages in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Headliners include Kane Brown, Mötley Crüe, SZA, Illenium, Tyler Childers, Keith Urban, AJR, Maroon 5 and Lil Uzi Vert, while other featured artists are Goo Goo Dolls, Lily Rose, MUNA, Carly Rae Jepsen, Chase Rice, Amy Grant, Lil Yachty and more.

Four Chord Music Fest

Pop-punk fans, get ready for Four Chord Music Fest, a two-day event headlined by A Day to Remember and The All-American Rejects from June 22-23 at Carrie Furnace in Pittsburgh. Other acts performing at the festival include The Story So Far, Something Corporate, Senses Fail, State Champs, Motion City Soundtrack and more.

LadyLand Festival

Pride Month in New York City is shaping up to be a big party — especially for anyone attending LadyLand Festival at Under the K Bridge Park in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, on June 28-29. Kim Petras, Arca and Tokischa are set to headline the event, while other performers include Countess Luann de Lesseps, Slayyyter, Bob the Drag Queen, Baby Tate, Kandy Muse and more.

Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic

Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic is back, and this year it's taking place at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion outside of Philadelphia in Camden, New Jersey. Set to perform at the Independence Day event are Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Maren Morris, Mavis Staples and Celisse.

Levitate Music and Arts Festival

Sublime, Lake Street Dive, Mt. Joy, Tash Sultana, Dirty Heads, Charley Crockett, Cory Wong, Oliver Anthony and more artists will perform at Levitate Music and Arts Festival. The three-day event takes place from July 5-7 at the historic Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, Massachusetts.

Under the Big Sky Festival

Miranda Lambert, Billy Strings and Turnpike Troubadours are set to headline Under the Big Sky Festival at Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish, Montana, from July 12-14. Other performers appearing at the event include Brothers Osborne, Mt. Joy, Tanya Tucker and special guest Flatland Cavalry.

Day In Day Out Festival

Carly Rae Jepsen, The Head and the Heart and Bleachers will headline Day In Day Out Fest at Washington's Seattle Center from July 12-14. Additional acts on the lineup include Suki Waterhouse, Peach Pit, Men I Trust, Hippo Campus, The Walkmen and Amyl and the Sniffers, among others.

Minnesota Yacht Club Festival

The first-ever Minnesota Yacht Club Festival is going down at Harriet Island Regional Park in Saint Paul, MN, from July 19-20. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alanis Morissette and Gwen Stefani will deliver headlining performances, while the artist lineup also includes The Black Crowes, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The Head and the Heart, Morgan Wade, The Offspring, Hippo Campus and Gary Clark Jr., among others.

Faster Horses Festival

Some of country's biggest stars will head down to the Irish Hills of Brooklyn, Michigan, to perform at Faster Horses Festival, held from July 19-21. Pitchfork Music Festival

FairWell Festival

Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival

Love music and motorcycles? Head down to Milwaukee for the 2024 Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival, held from July 25-28 in celebration of the company's former senior vice president and chief styling officer, Willie G. Project Pabst Festival

Pabst Blue Ribbon is back in the music festival game with Project Pabst, a two-day event going down July 27-28 at Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon. Billy Idol and Big Thief serve as headliners, while other artists on the lineup include T-Pain, Violent Femmes, Gossip, Denzel Curry, Manchester Orchestra and more.

Broccoli City Festival

Megan Thee Stallion, Gunna and PARTYNEXTDOOR will serve as this year's headliners for Broccoli City Festival at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., from July 27-28. Newport Jazz Festival

Outside Lands Music Festival

Tyler, the Creator, The Killers, Sturgill Simpson, The Postal Service, Grace Jones, KAYTRANADA, Jungle, Chris Lake and Gryffin serve as headliners for this year's Outside Lands Music Festival at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco from Aug. 9-11. All Your Friends Festival

Fall Out Boy and Billy Talent are set to headline this year's All Your Friends Festival, which goes down Aug. 24-25 at Burl's Creek in Ontario, Canada. Fool in Love Festival

Lionel Richie and Diana Ross will headline the first-ever Fool in Love Festival at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California, a one-day event set for Aug. 31. The lineup is jam-packed with legendary musicians including Nile Rodgers & Chic, Al Green, Santana, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Durand Jones & The Indications, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Kool & The Gang and many others.

Sudden Little Thrills Music Festival

Sudden Little Thrills is a brand-new festival coming to Hazelwood Green in Pittsburgh for two days on Sept. 7-8 with headliners SZA and The Killers. Music at the Intersection Festival

This year's Music at the Intersection Festival takes place from Sept. 14-15 in the Grand Center Arts District of St. Louis, Missouri. Eddie Vedder's annual Ohana Festival is back for another year at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California, from Sept. 27-29. Pearl Jam will headline both Friday and Sunday, while Neil Young and Crazy Horse will close out the festival on Saturday. South Star Festival is coming to John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama, from Sept. 28-29 with Gwen Stefani and Blink-182 set to headline. The lineup also features Shinedown, Jane's Addiction, Jimmy Eat World, TLC, Beck, Sublime, Goo Goo Dolls, Ludacris, Vanessa Carlton and more.

Country Calling Festival

Summer is getting an extension this year with Country Calling Festival, which goes down from October 4-5 at Ocean City Inlet Beach in Maryland.
