ASHLAND Ashland’s Summer Motion 2024 will add a new night of music this year.
Bluegrass will be featured on night two of entertainment. Bluegrass performers will be The Price Sisters, Sister Sadie and Jason Carter Band.
• Twin sisters Lauren and Leanna Price make up The Price Sisters from Sardis, Ohio. They sang together all their lives and began learning instruments when they were 8, at the suggestion of their father.
• Sister Sadie formed in 2012 in Missouri. The group has gone on to win an International Bluegrass Music Award for for Vocal Group of the Year, and received a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year, among other honors.
• Hailing from Lloyd, Jason Carter has spend 30 years with the Del McCoury Band. He’s the winner of Grammy awards and International Bluegrass Music Association awards and traveled the world performing.
