Here is a roundup of audition information for Milwaukee area actors, singers, dancers and musicians:

American Youth Symphony Orchestra is accepting video auditions via Google Drive on Aug. 21 from musicians ages 7 through 18 who play string intruments, winds, brass, percussion, including piano. Students must have a minimum of two years of instruction/playing experience on their instrument. The American Youth Symphony Orchestra (AYSO) is a new youth orchestra program housed at American Music Institute in Clarendon Hills, Ill. Register at aysomusic.org/auditions/

Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra will hold auditions Aug. 21 at Sun Valley Presbyterian Church in Beloit for the following positions: Section Violin, Section Viola, Section Cello, Section Bass; Principal Viola, Principal Tuba, Principal Piano, Principal Percussion; Sublist audition for any orchestral instrument. Register for an audition time by emailing a one-page resume to the Personnel Manager: bjsomusic@gmail.com, no later than August 12. Milwaukee Children's Choir is currently accepting new singers for the 2022-’23 season. Ensembles are available for students entering grades 1 through 12. Only singers entering grades 3 through 12 will need to audition. MCC provides a safe space for young people to grow and mature as musicians, students and leaders. Milwaukee Handbell Ensemble needs musicians for the 2022-’24 season. Auditions will be held by appointment on Aug. 22 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 7877 N. Port Washington Road, Glendale. The MHE rehearses on Monday evenings from 6:15 to 8:45 p.m. Register for an audition time by completing an online audition form. Racine Theatre Guild will hold auditions by appointment for “Judy & Julie: A Tribute to Judy Garland and Julie Andrews” from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 29 at 2519 Northwestern Ave., Racine. A diverse group of six to eight women ages 18 and up are needed for the cabaret show. Prepare one minute to one and a half minutes of either a Judy Garland or Julie Andrews tune, and bring sheet music; accompanist provided. No acapella or tracks allowed. Sunset Playhouse will hold auditions for “Elf The Musical” by appointment on Sept. 25 and 26 at 700 Wall St., Elm Grove. Prepare a 24-bar song in the style of the show.
