“Suits” stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams will have mini-reunion at 2024 Golden Globes

Additional presenters include Will Ferrell, Angela Bassett, George Lopez, Michelle Yeoh, and more.

The Suits resurgence is still going strong.

Since the hit legal drama was the unlikely streaming phenomenon of 2023, it’s no big surprise to learn that stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams will be presenting at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. The actors who portrayed Harvey Specter and Michael Ross, respectively, will have an mini-Suits reunion onstage, which is well timed in the wake of the show’s runaways success on Netflix and Peacock.

Additional presenters will include Amanda Seyfried, Angela Bassett, George Lopez, Julia Garner, Justin Hartley, Michelle Yeoh, and Will Ferrell. More names will be announced in the coming days. As for the honor of helming the award show, comedian and Easter Sunday star Jo Koy will serve as host of the Jan. 7 broadcast

Suits, which aired for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019, also starred Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres, and Sarah Rafferty. For any fans still anxiously anticipating a full-fledged Pearson Specter Litt reunion, even more cast members are slated to appear on a panel at the 2024 ATX TV Festival, which takes place May 30-June 2 in Austin. Currently, creator Aaron Korsh and cast members Adams, Rafferty and Dulé Hill are on the bill, with more panelists to come.

Beyond being successful at the time of its run — and even launching the one-season spinoff Pearson — the series found new life when it began streaming on Netflix. The drama unexpectedly broke streaming records throughout 2023, and topped Nielsen's streaming charts for months on end. Much of this success occurred over the summer, a period that usually sees fewer shows being released, and coincided with two massive Hollywood strikes that halted production and postproduction on new shows and movies across the nation.

In mid October, EW confirmed that original series creator Korsh began development with NBCUniversal on an untitled project set in the Suits universe. The series has not been labeled a reboot or a spinoff; if picked up, it would feature an all-new cast and not initially include characters from the original show, though an eventual crossover could occur further down the line.

The Golden Globes will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. See the full list of nominees.
