Suge Knight is launching his own podcast, on which he’ll address the various grievances he has with some of the biggest figures in Hip-Hop.

According to TMZ, the Death Row Records founder’s podcast series is titled Collect Calls with Suge Knight and will be recorded straight from the prison where Knight is currently incarcerated. The Compton, Ca., native has teamed up with The Source founder and Breakbeat Media CEO David Mays for the podcast, which is scheduled to debut its first episode on Halloween (Oct. 31).

The pair have already recorded five Collect Calls with Suge Knight episodes, each running 30-minutes in length. New episodes will drop weekly, with audio of each show released on Thursdays and a video of each episode on Fridays.

In a statement to TMZ, Mays explained that he was prompted to work with Knight on the podcast as part of his continued effort to provide “truthful and authentic” content to consumers. “As we celebrate hip-hop’s 50th year, more than ever the hip-hop community needs a media platform that they can trust to bring a truthful and authentic perspective on so many important things happening in our world,” the Massachusetts native expressed.

“I’m proud that Breakbeat provides this essential and valuable medium. And I’m so excited to be able to enlist the help of my longtime friend and one of hip-hop’s most formidable, pioneering, and fearless leaders to help Breakbeat continue to achieve this goal. Collect Calls With Suge Knight will awaken hip-hop fans worldwide and build bridges across multiple generations.”

Suge Knight In Court
Marion “Suge” Knight appears in Los Angeles court for a pretrial hearing at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center on January 21, 2016 in Los Angeles, California. Knight is charged with robbery and criminal threats after allegedly stealing a photographer’s camera during an incident September 5, 2014 in Beverly Hills.

A sneak-peek of the first episode of the podcast was teased on Tuesday (Oct. 24), featuring Knight responding to recent comments made by Warren G regarding 2Pac’s signing to Death Row.

“Warren G, you couldn’t take care of yourself, how was you gonna get ‘Pac out of prison?” the 58-year-old asked in reference to the rapper’s assertion that he attempted to bail the late rap icon out of jail while he was serving his prison sentence in 1995.

Others who are expected to be addressed by Knight include current Death Row Records owner Snoop Dogg, Wack 100, Akon and other associates and affiliates.
