Subway Singing Sensation Mike Yung Wows Again on ‘Late Late Show With James Corden’

Millions have been captivated by the story of Mike Yung, a singer who’s become an Internet sensation after his performance of “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers on a New York City subway stop was posted online. Infatuated with his performance, Late Late Show host James Corden and his staff were able to track down Yung and have him perform on their show.

Wearing that same Brooklyn Nets hat seen in the video that introduced him to so many new fans, Yung showed his vocal prowess. But it wasn’t the first time he has impressed listeners. In an interview with Pitchfork, Yung explained that he was signed to a record deal as a teenager, but it fell through when the label went bankrupt. Ever since, he’s primarily earned an income by busking and performing with various bands.
